On Sep 29th, 2007, one of the sacred days of Ramadan, Muslims will provide new clothing, food, and health aid to those in need. Our goal is to help 1000 people in Chicago land area.
 The ProphetPBUH once told his wife: "Do not turn away a needy man...even if all you can give is half a date. If you love the needy and bring them near you...GOD will bring you near HIM on the day of Resurrection."

 Humanitarian Day is one of the projects under MAS Youth Give (MYG) program, organized and managed by Muslim American Society (MAS) and its youth division, MAS Youth. Amongst the goals of MAS and MAS Youth is to present Islam in its true form - balanced and comprehensive. A major component of the message of Islam is social service. In the Qur’an, Allah (swt) describes the Muslims as a group that is proactive in calling for good.
Let there be among you a community who invite to what is good, and enjoin good and forbid evil; it is they that shall be successful.
